Pigs ears and hoofs are also dangerous. They can truly harbor dangerous bacteria.

- We feed only rawhide that we produce. It isn't dried so it doesn't
- splinter at all. What we do is we take the back skin from the bacon or
- our pigs ears that we send for smoking and then cut it into pieces and
- roll it up. This makes sure it is pliable enough but tough enough as
