[SimplifyMe] Fruit over {Frozen-Yogurt}

 

FRUIT OVER FROZEN-YOGURT
MAKES 6 SERVINGS.

1 1/2 cups cranberry juice
1/8 tsp salt
2 orange rind strips
8 oz pkg mixed dried fruit, chopped
1 cinnamon stick
3 cups vanilla frozen yogurt
1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted

Bring juice, salt, rind, fruit and cinnamon to a boil in a pan. Simmer 10 min. Cool slightly. Scoop 1/2 cup yogurt into each of 6 bowls, top each serving with 1/4 cup fruit mixture and 2 tsp almonds. SERVE immediately & ENJOY...

[SimplifyMe] Easy Apple-Cider {Oatmeal}

 

EASY APPLE-CIDER OATMEAL
MAKES 1 SERVING.

1/2 cup apple cider
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
2 tbs milk
2 tbs chopped pecans

Bring cider, 1/4 cup water and salt to a boil in a pan. Stir in oats, cook 5 min. Place pecans in a skillet, cook until lightly toasted. Transfer to a bowl. Remove pan with oatmeal from heat, stir in milk. Spoon oatmeal into a bowl, top with pecans. SERVE & ENJOY...

YUMMY BERRY SMOOTHIE
MAKES 1 SERVING.

3/4 cup strawberries
1/2 cup pomegranate juice, chilled
6 oz container vanilla yogurt
2 tbs milk

Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. SERVE immediately & ENJOY...

[cardifffreecycle] WANTED: Any type on sewing machine (Llanedeyrn)

 

Hello all! This may be a long shot but does anyone have a sewing machine lying around that they no longer want/need? I am currently making a patchwork quilt for my 9 week old son and my machine has gone bang! and I can't currently afford to replace it so would be EXTREMELY greatful if someone could donate one to me.
